Professional Development for Certified Teachers &
Administrators:
A Career in Teaching is a State Board of Education
Certification (SBEC) and Texas Education Agency (TEA)
approved provider for Continuing Professional Education (CPE)
in the state of Texas. Teachers who attend our professional
development sessions will receive CPE hours to meet their
certification requirements. We are fortunate to be able to
provide to you and your staff, quality, research-based
professional development in the various grade levels. Our
instructors are all TEA certified teachers and/or
administrators currently in the field and understand the
areas of critical need in professional development.

in registering for professional development with A Career in

Each of our sessions provides hands-on, engaging sessions
with cooperative group discussions, critical thinking and
meaningful, authentic learning experiences for your
teachers. Our goal is to assist teachers in receiving
quality instruction and tools to immediately return to the
classroom and implement the strategies learned during their
session.
A Career in Teaching not only provides professional
development at our own site, 5250 S. Staples, Suite 220,
Corpus Christi, Texas but we are also available to bring
professional development to your campus and design custom
training based on the needs of your staff. Our instructors
are also available to provide campus services such as:
follow up coaching, grade level/team planning, curriculum
development, identifying quality instructional resources,
designing intervention plans, classroom management,
assisting new teachers and staff with professional growth
plans.
