A Career in Teaching-EPP
Online Class Program Information

All candidates must meet the criteria for enrollment into an educator Preparation Program (EPP) (see the website for more information) 

Books:  Classroom Instruction that Works (Marzano), First Days of School (Wong) 

All online candidates will have an access number to our WebEx line for instruction.  A schedule of times will be given to candidates after they register. 

All candidates will be invited to an EdWeb discussion board.  Please accept the invitation and respond to the discussion each time. 

All candidates will complete online modules over various topics.  Candidates will be given a login password and will receive credit as they successfully complete each module. 

All candidates are expected to complete 30 hrs. of observations with 15 of those hours being classroom observations.  The other 15 hours will be acquired using TxBESS certified videos.  Observation hours will be documented on the observation form. 

Phone interviews will be held during the week before classes begin.  All interviews will be scheduled at a designated time and should not take more than 10 minutes per interview.
