Course Description:

Our program offers curriculum based knowledge in relation to
EC-4, 4-8 and 8-12; to include Supplements in Bilingual EC-4/4-8 and
Special Education (All Level).
 
During the course of the program you will learn: 
Learning Modalities, the use of manipulatives,
Classroom Management, Higher Order Thinking Skills,
Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities,
a Philosophy of Education,  TEKS/TAKS; and
 
Candidates will also learn:
 
Classroom Management 
Curriculum & Instruction
Reading & Math Strategies
Bilingual Education
Special Education
 
Instruction will be provided by locally employed classroom teachers
and administrators from area school districts.
